A charming, thatched manor house, built in 1920, and recently refurbished, Stellendal is conveniently situated on the fringes of the Somerset West business hub within walking distance of shops and restaurants. 

Somerset West is centrally situated to explore the wine routes of Stellenbosch (20 minute drive), Paarl and Franschhoek, the Strand beach is a 10 minute drive and Gordon's Bay 15 minutes away.
Cape Town is 40 minutes and Cape Town International Airport 20 minutes on the highway.

The seven en-suite (shower) double bedrooms offer guests a taste of Africa. The Bushman room and the Ndebele room, for instance. The accent is on simplicity and comfort; so, the beds are extra-long, and low-level heating keeps the indoor temperature pleasant. 

The three cottages offer all the conveniences the traveller needs for a comfortable stay, and children can also be accommodated.
They are en-suite (bath and shower) and have well equipped kitchens and a dining area.

Guests are requested to refrain from smoking in the bedrooms.

Gleaming wood, padded sofas and a large fireplace accentuate the elegance of the lounge/dining room. Here guests can gather for a drink, or – if they wish – enjoy a home-prepared dinner.

A swimming pool for guests use is situated in the spacious leafy gardens.

Off-street enclosed parking is provided.

An airport shuttle can be arranged at R100 per person.

For the more energetic cycle tours can be arranged as well as hikes in the nearby Hottentots Holland Mountains - a minimum of 5-6 guests is required for each. 

A wide choice of choice of breakfasts is available at a discount at nearby restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

Dinner is available on request.
